Silver Saddle Christian Academy offers the student six basic academic disciplines that meet TEKS guidelines as set out by the State of Texas. These disciplines include: Math, English, Literature & Creative Writing, Social Studies, Science, and Word Building. Accelerated Christian Education Curriculum enables the student to be adequately prepared for college or for performance in the workplace. The Accelerated Christian
Education curriculum has stood the test of time. The curriculum concentrates on
mastery method of learning. It is being used in thousands of schools and many
thousands of home schools in over 100 different countries around the world. The
results of using this Christian, individualized curriculum are very impressive.
The children work on bite-sized pieces of curriculum called Paces, which stands
for Packet of Accelerated Christian Education. These colorful workbooks are
designed to encourage learning and understanding and develop mastery learning.
Each PACE comes with an enclosed PACE Test which is presented to the child on
completion of the PACE. A score of 80% or greater in the test allows the child
to progress to the next PACE in the subject. A score below this pass mark
requires the child to repeat the PACE. This ensures that the child has mastered
the material before moving on.
